I have a tutorial request. I want to make my theme have multiple portfolio pages. I love the portfolio option in the Elite theme because it lays out the posts with an image thumbnail and short description and if you click the image you get the full post...like this: but I need many portfolio Categories displayed on different pages with different images/text - 1 for residential work, 1 for commercial work, 1 for before and after etc...) and the the Elite theme only has an option for 1 Portfolio Category in the theme options. I would love a tutorial that would help me add to the existing portfolio css in the style sheet or portfolio ph file - to create multiple portfolio categories and display them on different pages. Is it just a matter of adding the same code in a different place in the stylesheet or portfolio php file? If you already know a plugin that does this job that would be great too! I already tried NextGen & it has great galleries but there is not an option to make an excerpt that opens to a post - instead of the entire description included with the image thumbnail. Help please! Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that with this theme unless you custom code something up. Sorry. If this isn't something you're able to do then you would need to hire a developer for this. Take care.
I already understood that this would require some coding but we figured it out - Totally possible even for a newbie!
