    Hi Support,

How to disable these two things: Categories and Archives? Cause I want to show my popular posts and recent ads by the side, and these two things are hogging up the space. :)

    Thanks guys,

    Hello,

    Go to the
    Appearance > Widgets
Drag widgets and drop them in the Home page, classified, blog, page and contact page widget area, It will automatically display at your sidebar.

Hey Gourav, been awhile. hope you're doing good.
sorry, what i wanted is to 'disable' it and not displaying 'Categories' and 'Archives' in the blog page. Like I have highlighted in red in my previous statement with the attachment.

    Hello,

    Go to the
    Appearance > Widgets
Drag text widgets and add paragraph tag and drop it in the blog widget area.

    Code:
    <p></p>
    This will solve your issue.

    Hello Calvin,

Theme at your dashboard contain custom added widget code in the sidebar.php file. That's why it is showing widgets no matters we have widgets in the Appearance > widgets.
We have removed that extra code from sidebar file.
