How to display wide / one column for homepage and 2 column for other pages/post

how do i get my website to only have one colum, basically no sidebars on the homepage, but side bars on the other pages/post?

If you wish to change the layout from multicolumn to single column that won't be possible to do without hopping into the codes and making the structural changes to the themes HTML/CSS itself. I would not recommend you to do that.
