Our website is http://geo.wpx.me and we want to group the listings by Free Listings, Standard Listings and Featured Listings. Is this possible and how do we do it if it is? Also we noticed that if you check the info of a listing the Phone number and Email are not clickable. Is it possible to configure settings so that when people add their Business' Phone number & Email it will become clickable on their info page. Please Help. Thank You
Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that with our theme unless you custom code something up. Sorry. If this isn't something you're able to do then you would need to hire a developer for this.
This inquiry is related so I am not hijacking the thread; besides I haven't found any reply to my email. That is disappointing; I am not happy to read that! Are you not planning any upgrades like that for this script? Paid listings should have click to call and/or email/text capabilities, or what's the point; what are they paying for? I see you are now asking more for it; upgrades or ??? Are csv files importing/exporting properly?
Nitesh - The theme has the website field clickable, and when I look at the 'Custom Field Options' for website it seems to be the same as for email and phone, except it is a clickable field. I am really surprised to hear that you are asking me to pay for this simple feature for this contemporary theme. You have 'Tap to Call' on many of your themes, I have quite a list of refinements I'd like to make to the theme, some of which I (and most of your customers) would expect as standard - click to call and click to email are top of the list. As for other coding tasks, do you have a theme customisation service and how much is it? Thanks.
On the forum home page I only find this one posting for the geo craft theme, so I'm posting in here I am happy to hear about including tap to call and/or text/email; I consider these options as necessary especially for an upgraded or paid listing I too would be interested in knowing if there is customizing available as I also have a few features I'd like to change about the theme such as removing or changing the recently added and the duplicated featured list for a different widget (coupons?); maybe slow down or stop the slider and leave a manual change option or maybe leave the reviews on the listing instead of randomly on the front page I think there is quite a few things that could improve the theme remarkably it would be nice to know if some of this can be done and/or provide an option to have some customizing done I think there is definately room for simple improvement with this theme and would like assurances from the developer whether he plans any continued upgrading or plans to leave as is as much as possible?
Hello Dan, We have plans to make GeoCraft a robust solution for directory listing sites and we are constantly working towards upgrading the theme both feature wise as well as doing lot of code optimization in the theme itself. We have implemented certain features in the theme based on users requirements. We pick the features based upon the number of requests we receive for any particular feature.
If I may jump in, I am happy for the "click-to" feature. Only thing is how will the visitor know that he can click either the number or the email. There seems to be nothing either on my desktop or my iPad to indicate this. Perhaps instead of (or in addition to) "Phone No." and "Email" we could have "Click to Call".
Hi, with click to call it is necessary to have the URL displayed with http:// I found out I had one with just www. and this will not work.
Perhaps we will include some little icon of Tap to Call/Email for mobile devices in the further updates. Thanks for letting me know. -Neeraj
You can of course change "Phone No." and "Email" in the custom field section to "Click to Call" or anything you like
In text description box, I use Mobile Tap-t0-Call 9999999999. Just by tapping it automatic goes to phone dailer pad with number.
