Although I received a reply to my question, the reply had little or nothing to do with the question I asked, AND it seems like no one has been back to follow up on my reply after the initial non-response. My initial question posted 10/21/12: After upgrading to version 3.0 the content of footer widget 1 no longer spreads into the footer 2. I have only added one footer widget because that is the only footer widget I want. However, I DO NOT want the contents of that widget to be forcibly wrapped. Go to sidebar-footer.php present in your theme directory and follow the instruction as shown in image given below This will solve your issue.
