How to remove sidebar (Or widget area) from homepage?

I created a home page template, but I'd like to remove the side bar from it.
What do I need to remove to from this template?

Paste the code given below in Custom CSS section
(Appearance -> Theme Options -> Styling Options -> Custom CSS) of your dashboard.

Code:

.home div.sidebar {
display: none;
} 

This will solve your issue.
