How to separate listings by location

This locked thread has a plug in that may help to separate listings by location, but I can't work out how to do it - any ideas anyone?

For this you need to create categories, location wise and assign listings related to that category locating.

 

We installed the 'Dynamic Widgets' plugin and tested on this category page - http://geo.wpx.me/listcat/vic/
On the sidebar area where it says 'Victoria, Australia' - this is the widget that we want to show up on the Victoria category page only, which works fine.
Below the title is the list of category - the idea is to show the 'Cafe' found in Victoria, 'Organic Wines' found in Victoria & 'Restaurants' found in Victoria only.
How can we do that?
and it should work for the other locations as well
