HTML5 video in theme's home page

Hi there - just started working on the Dzonia theme and wonder about use of video - what about embedding HTML5 video code in place of embedding from Youtube/Vimeo etc for the 'First Feature Section'
Tried placing the html5 code but only shows the code when viewing the page - any help greatly appreciated.

Hello,
To display the video in the First Feature Section, you can only use youtube embed code. It will not works for the HTML5 video code from the Theme Options. If you want to use the HTML5 video code in the front page then go to the front-page.php file present in your theme directory and put your HTML5 video code instead of image code.
This will solve your issue.

 

Thanks for that - think I'll go down the Vimeo route - will be easier for others to maintain in future.
