I guess the title pretty much says it all.... my site is at http://www.quadstatecatering.com We are still in our infancy and trying to understand the basics..... This is pretty basic. I have read all sorts of previous threads. They sort of fold back on themselves, however, and I can't figure out what's relevant and what's not. Have any of the previous issues been addressed by recent updates to the theme? The functionality for claiming a listing is still not present.... yes? How does someone upgrade a listing from free to premium?... other than we do it manually each and every time..... There are probably other questions but... this is enough for now.. 1. Claiming a listing is a manual operation done by the admin at this stage via the backend. Seen sites with information telling people how to claim a listing, which is contact the admin of the site. No automated way to do this at the moment. It is a feature I beleive that has been asked for and is needed in this theme. 2. A person wanting to upgrade their listing from free to premium can only do that when the listing expires, that is my current understanding. (The team can correct me if I am wrong) There is a thread on this somewhere..
Thanks!! Your understanding of the "claim listing" issue is the same as mine... Hope this is very high on the list. I can manage the manual process for a couple sites but my business model has lots more in my future. Additionally, I can't imagine flipping a site to anyone who will be willing to deal with the kludged process. With respect to upgrading a free listing to premium... I also understood it the way you describe it. I was hoping that I was missing something in the fog of threads which touch this topic. This too needs some attention quickly. I looked all over for the right directory theme. Many of them were unworkable.... The rest still fell way short... GeoCraft was hands down the closest to meeting my needs/requirements. I hope these issues can be corrected... cag
Hello homespunmoney, For Claiming a listing nzcid is correct but for free to premium listing upgrading, Free user can upgrade there listing anytime they want. Just go to the dashboard edit listing and upgrade from there. Check image for reference.
