Greetings. I am having an image problem.

Attached is an image that I upload. It appears fine on the home page, but in the actual directory listing, it is very distorted and the quality has been softened.

I know that the theme resizes images on the fly, but I's appreciate knowing the precise image size to use where the theme would use the image at 100%, without any manipulation.

Additionally, would I be better off using square images as opposed to rectangular images in avoid this issue in the future?

    Please advise. - Frank

P.S. I tried uploading a square image. It only made the distortion much worse. :(

Greetings Nitesh. TY for this. Can I assume by looking at that code snippet that the theme prefers an optimum image size of 448 x 270 or am I misinterpreting what I see? I'd much rather stick to creating images that work smoothly with the theme as opposed to using CSS. Please advise.

    Cheers. - Frank

    Hello Frank,

Yes " 448 x 270 "px is the optimum size for slider. It is over to you. If you are publishing listing by yourself then you can create images of optimum size.
Otherwise you can use css code which will adjust slider according to listing owner image size.

    Thanks & Regards

Hi Nitesh. Thanks for your quick response. To be clear, the slider image was not distorted. The squashed image was on the actual directory listing page, which I found very surprising. So - are we talking about the same fix as I have tried to better explain where the problem is showing?

That said, I do see where the CSS code is important for the end user to be able to upload images without incident and I will implement your suggestion to a permanent fix. TY.

    Cheers. - Frank

    Hello,

Solution above is for a listing page which display when we click on any particular listing.
    For example please check screenshot.
