Images at Home Page Blog

After update of theme from V3.5.3 to V3.6.8 to solve issue opening link of slider in new tab, now the images at home page blog (which were properly shown with old version) are shown ugly (i.e. distorted) for all blogs. See http://www.frauenbund-viernheim.de/wp/.
But at category blog page http://www.frauenbund-viernheim.de/wp/category/allgemein/ all images are okay.
Please let me know what to do ?

And second question is:
Where should Home Page Blog Description be visible ? Why it is NOT seen ?

Btw I did translation to german in many php-files. Isn't this belonging to language support ?

For the first issue,

Please paste the code given below in Custom CSS field (Appearance -> Theme Options -> Styling Options -> Custom CSS) of your dashboard.

Code:

.flexslider_blog li.blog_item .flex_thumbnail img {
    width: 100%;
    height: auto;
}

And for the #2,

To show blog post.. you need to publish post with feature image...

#2 Each blog entry has as image associated. Where should be a feature image ? And where should the Home Page Blog Description be visible at website ?
Additional question:
#3 Is it possible to open First Feature Link URL in new tab ? But only this one, second and third are okay like it is.

To open feature link in new tab, screenshot is given below..



For your information, I am using "WP-Editor" plugin to edit files.

You can also download and use it from the link https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-editor/.

After activating this plugin, you will get the same screen as shown in the screenshot.

#2: Each blog post already has a feature image.
But the question is where the text given in field Home Page Blog Description at Design - Home Page Settings can be seen at website ?
I cannot find this text anywhere. Where should this be visible ?

Additional issue:
#4 How to avoid that feature image of blog is cut at Home Page Blog (see Blog with title "M-Fest im Vogelpark: Spendengelder in Höhe von 3.250 € ausgeschüttet") ? How can I reach that complete picture is shown but resized (i.e. smaller) ?

#2 So this text is only shown if I do NOT have blogs ? Or what do you mean with "dont't put your content to the related box" ?

#4 width and height is working but the image is still NOT shown completely. Just a excerpt of the image is shown.
What is to do to see complete image ?

2) Sorry for the inconvenience...Actually, I misunderstood your issue..

Let me clear you that Home Page Blog Description will show on the right side of your theme where there is a widget section..

So if you will not use widget field, in that case, you will be able to show the text from Home Page Blog Description.

Hope you will understand..

4) I rechecked your site and noticed that images are of fullwidth over there..
