Images Do Not Display Correctly When Uploaded - Is there a better image plugin available to use?

I have an issue with my site, marketeerclassifieds.com wherein when pictures are added to the listings, they don’t auto size and some are stretched or cut off when they are uploaded. Is there a plugin available that handles the images better than the one that came with the Geocraft theme or is there a setting that I need to change that will automatically resize the pictures to display correctly when uploaded by my subscribers to their ads?

I have visited your site. You are uploading images of small dimension (for ex. http://marketeerclassifieds.com/listing/outsourcing/).
Please upload images of minimum dimension (450 x 280).
Images with this dimension will look good.

For front page images
