Images in footer area

Hi , I am trying to add images to the footer area, by pasting a href code in to the widgets, the link works but there is no image.. what size does the image have to be to be able to be seen?

Hello,

Go to Appearance > Widgets
Drag "Text" widgets and add code there and drop it in the first widget area.

Code:

how can i center the image within each footer area?
