Images not displaying in IE browser

Most Blog post images are not rendering on the site except for the featured image (See http://dfwvetsurgeons.com/library/category/medical-library/ and click on any post). The Blog is renamed as Medical Library. It appears to be isolated to IE, as Chrome/Firefox/Safari work just fine. Also, navigating to the Medical Library image files directly will pull them up in IE. See the Gastropexy, Elective and Mandibulectomy and Maxillectomy pages in particular.

The two versions of IE tested are 11.545.10586.0 and 11.0.9600.18499.

Navigating to the file (i.e. /assets/pic-library-xyz.jpg) will bring the image up in the browser. Clicking on the image containers showed in the screenshot below will open the larger pop out box as it is supposed to but will not load the images themselves.

Images in the rest of the site's pages do not have this same issue.

Even if you can't tell me exactly what is causing the issue, can you offer some ideas of where to look? Have already contacted the web host and all checks out there. Thanks!
