Importing data

Hi I have a few queries re importing data;

1. Do all records get imported as a free listing?
2. Can you add images to the import or do you have to add these manually afterwards?
3. How do you select classification for the import?

Hello Joel !


Free listing will get imported in free and featured in featured.
You have to add images URL manually on CSV file.
You can import from Tools => Import.

Thanks I have downloaded the csv and the advert type is "pro" I presume this is premium? I want to import a lot of records into free listings. I understand all the fields except what do I put into the advert type field for free and premium for the theme to understand how to list the adverts? Thanks

Yes "pro" denotes that is premium.

If I import then what fields do I need? For example to import data to a free advert what needs to be in this field? Also do the field names need to be exactly the same or can you choose and assign field when you import?

 

Hello !

Please Export your some data firstly after creation of fields.
and then open that file you will get all the fields name as well as values.

In that file cc_add_type show the type of post free or pro.
