Importing & User Accounts

I want to import 700+ business listings and then allow each business to manage their own listings. There doesn't seem to be a simple way to do this.

All I can think is to import the listing data from a CSV and then set up each User seperately and then edit the author of each listing. That's a long way around. Has anyone got a simpler/quicker solution?

 

I used a plugin called Members Import to import a CSV of users. That has saved a bit of time but I think I still have to edit each of the 700+ listings with the author.

Yes you have to edit all your listings to assign author.
Time consuming but it is the only solution.
