Infoway: Blog images outsized

Hello. Since switching from the Blackbird to the Infoway theme all of my blog images are hugely outsized and fuzzy. In addition, I've noticed that some slider images and commenter avatars are fuzzy and hazy. Is there a dpi I should be using or is there a fix for this?

Removing two plugins seems to have the site "working." Can you recommend social media plugins (post to FB or Twitter) that will work with your sites? Jetpack used to work great, but their latest update seems to break your sites. I've tried it on 3 themes without any luck.
