The fun has just begun! I simulated a new user and registered and everything and set up a new listing. So far, so good! Now that I try to login as "admin" I get a wordpress error-message which says "You are not allowed to access this part of the site". I suspect my IP address is recorded somewhere, but where? Clearly I need to remove this record - ,which brings me to a question I wanted to ask all along, "Where are all the user details recorded, and does 'admin' have access to them, and how? I know it must be the IP address because I can access "admin' from my iPad. Does anyone know a way out of this predicamentr?
Never mind, everybody. I just forgot to logout from the new user account. All is well again. However, I would still like to know where the users info in stored, if it is in one place.
