I think I've had my website theme colorway for about 2 years maybe (?) .. but I question, is it necessary to update the theme? From what I can tell, all is working fine for my website, but as wordpress updates should I also be updating and installing a newer version of the theme at this time?
Well, you can go for the updated version, but it would be great if you can make a backup of your current theme version. In two years, there are lots of changes done in the theme so, you must go through the changelog of the theme before you update it.
