Jetpack not installing - need ability to quick blog & update site on the go

I have the WP iPhone app and see that as my site ( www.littlebigmouth.net ) is self-hosted, I can not use it. A thorough google brought me to the answer of installing Jetpack.

However, after installation, I can not connect it as it says:

"Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessibleError Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 403]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.me/support/"

Is there either A) A way I can solve the jetpack issue or B) another solution that will allow me to blog on the go, single sign-on, stats, post by email etc.

Again, the main issue is I want to use my WP app to blog and update my site on the go but I could get much value form the other jetpack features.

Please ask from your hosting provider or from Jetpack support to resolve this issue.
