Large Images Displaying Smaller

I can't get a large 995px wide image to display the correct size when creating a page. It reduces to around 550px wide.

You can select image size while adding it from media as small/medium/large or a particular width.

I do know how to make the picture larger and do custom sizes in the media section of WordPress. If you check the page source you'll see the image size is 995 pixels wide but that's not how it's displaying. Could you please check into this further. I'd be happy to give you a temporary username and password so that you can go in and see what I mean. Just send me your email address and I will get it over to you.
