Hi, I read in another thread that it's possible to have a white central background with a patterned background down the sides. Your answer about that was to make sure you are using Version 1.9 of the theme. I checked and found I am only using 1.7.2 so I downloaded the theme again from the members area and tried to upload it to my wordpress site but got an error message because the theme folder already existed. What am I doing wrong?
Hello, Because the theme folder is already exists it won't allow you to install the theme, So first you have to change the name of the theme directory and also change the "Theme Name" in "style.css" file then you can install the theme to your dashboard. Also sending you the image of style.css where you have to change the name. This will solve your problem.
Thanks so much for this information, although, I must admit, I'm not super confident abut managing this. Do you have any plan to make the update available as an automatic update through wordpress anytime soon? If I go ahead with the update using the method you've suggested, do I need to do anything else to be able to have a background that only appears in the side sections?
Thanks, Nitesh. I have three more questions: a) Do you plan to offer an automatic update through Wordpress anytime soon? b) If I go ahead manually, what do I need to change the theme directory and theme name in style.css to? c) By 'theme directory', do you mean theme folder name? Thanks!
