Leads capture shortcode being injected at the top of the page/post content.

We are using the leads capture shortcode on our pages and want to have control of where in the content the form will appear. Currently, no matter where you put the shortcode in the content, it is removed and injected above the content from the editor. I am relatively code savvy and very familiar with Wordpress, I just am not sure where/what in the theme is making this shortcode do this. Any help/direction that can be provided would be much appreciated.
