Link Gallery Image to Page, not Lightbox

I run an author website and I want to use the gallery to display book covers. Then when they click on the cover, they are brought to the page dedicated to the book. No matter what I do in the gallery post, it still just shows the "larger" image.

For this you can use plugins which provide short-codes .
You can put short-codes on front page for gallery with links.

This required lots of customization.​

You can remove the zoom effect by manual editing but it is not possible to set links for each image or you may loss the designing of that section.​

Hello,

Please use plugin which will work according to your requirement which provide the short codes.
There is not any facility of caption with zoom effect on gallery.
When you will use plugin you can remove this gallery.
