Listing disappears after update

Hi - I noticed that after a listing author updates a listing, it goes into Pending mode and is removed from visibility. However, I (as an admin) do not get an email that a post is pending and awaiting approval, so it's kind of a useless function. How can I make it so that if a listing is already live and a user makes an update to the listing, the listing remains live?

If a brand new listing is submitted, do I (as an admin) receive an email notification? If not, how do we implement this? This is a critical feature too.

geocrafttheme\library\controls\dashboard\dashboard_functions.php
