I am sure this has been mentioned in the past, but I could not think of the terms to use to search for it. Is it possible to make the listings turn around on Geocraft? I currently have the theme on 2 sites and the listings are static, thus being less favourable to the members who have listed first. I assumed that it would automatically turn around. I.e. so that the one on the end would swap places with the one on the start every few hours or days depending on what you require? Is this something that is easy to do as i can't find anything to make this happen. This is my site: http://dj-alliance.co.uk
Hello, Greetings from InkThemes! It seems from your above words that you have a problem with the way of listing use to appear over there. So if I am not wrong with your issue, would like to inform you that all the listings are used to display according to the date, like if you have posted your listing today and I have posted my listing yesterday then your listing will be on top of the page. So if you want to show old listing suppose want to display my listing on top of the page then you have to do some alteration in date of the listing from edit option. I would prefer that free and unclaimed listings within a location be randomized, specifically to encourage those who listings appear to buy a premium upgrade in order to get more and better exposure. But that's just me. I have used the published date function for now to prioritize some listings.
Thanks for your reply. So there is no way for the premium listings to have a turnaround without changing the date. I feel that this is quite unfair for people that have paid for the service first and remain on page 4 or so on, thus people who have just listed get an unfair advantage? Is there any workaround on this if possible as i assumed when purchasing the product that this would be the case. if anything I would rather put the people who had faith in my site first (and put down the money) and the ones who jump in later last. I suppose I can do a separate page with all the listings on one.
