I have billing set-up for annual renewal, but accounts are expiring after 6 mos. and emails being sent to the customer and me. Obviously this is a mess. Plus, a couple questions:
    1. How do I make sure the default 1 year renewal is in place.
    2. How can I set an account to never expire?
    Thank you,

    Tom

    Hello Tom,

Export csv of your listings and remove from dashboard.
After that set renewal period to 1 year from
    Geocraft settings > Payment settings
Then import csv. It will set your listings expiry to 1 year.

I hope it will help you.

Export produces an XML file. How do I get the CSV file? Can I perform this action with the XML or must I use a CSV?

Also, will future updates destroy my one year setting?

    Thank you,

    Tom

Please help,I must solve this issue ASAP.

My renewal period has always been set to 1 year in my dashboard.

I am familiar with exporting the Business Listings as an XML file.
How do I export a CSV file of my business listings?

Then, how do I remove business listings from dashboard?
    Check each listing and delete?

Then import a CSV file or an XML file?

    Thank you,

    Tom

    Hello Tom,

    Go to the
    Dashboard > Geocraft settings > Import/Export
and export demo csv file from there.
There you will get csv file format which is required.
I think you are going to the WordPress export/import option which is wrong.
    After that remove listings from
    Dashboard > Business listings.
And then set renewal period to 1 year from
    Geocraft settings > Payment settings
After that again import csv file.

I hope it will help you.

    Nitesh,

    Something is not right here.
I exported my listings from (Dashboard > Geocraft settings > Import/Export) to a CSV file.
The file only shows 50 listings, but the CP shows 123 listings. All (126) | Published (49) | Drafts (73) | Pending (4)

You are instructing me to "remove listings from Dashboard". If I do that, I'll only import 50 of the 100+ listings.

In addition, my Payment settings are already set to a renewal period to 1 year.

Please help, all those customers who received notice of their listing expiration are not happy.

    Thank you,

    Tom

I have sent the info you requested. However, I did not send the csv file as my export only captures less than half of the listings. I need all listings updated and I need the 1 year renewal.

Thank you for all your help,

    Tom

    Hello Tom,

I have renewed all your draft listings to one year.
But still there are some listings which are going to expire in next 14 15 days.
Renew them manually from admin penal.

This problem is occurred because you have not set expiry date for free and one time payment.
No matters you are not using these packages but you need to set expiry or active period there too.

This just came up... a client’s listing just expired today and the expiry date Is “08/27/2013 18:44:55”

The message says “You can set any custom expiry date here. Leave blank if you want the expiry date to be calculated automatically depending upon the listing active period setting inside payment settings under theme options panel.

The listing was created in February, I want it to renew 1 year after it was listed, so do remove this date and leave it blank, or do I add a date? If add a date, how do I calculate that?

    I'm still a bit confused.

    Thank you again,

    Tom

    Billing Renewal Still Broken

Last month you were kind enough to access my site to fix the recurring billing/expiration issue I have on my site, www.flatheadguide.com. My renewals are supposed to be annual (12 mos), but they continue renewing at odd times.

A recent account created Aug 16, 2013 has expired. When I change it to “Published” in the Control Panel, it does not publish.

1.) Please explain what must be done to make all renewals occur 1 yr. after they have been entered.
2.) Please explain how we can publish an expired listing.

This is causing me a great problem as people are complaining that they paid for a year, but are renewing after various months.

    Thank you,

    Tom

    Hello Tom,

Your all listings are not published at the same date. That's why they expiring at different time.
Please do let me know if you want to set same expiry date for all listings. I will set it on your dashboard.

    Nitesh,

I understand that listings renew at different dates. The problem is that they are NOT renewing on their annual date, but after months. If we have the Control Panel set up properly for yearly renewals, why are these renewing in less than a year? I've had one listing renew 3 times already.

How do we solve this so that all previous listings renew 1 year after their anniversary date, and new listings renew 1 year later?

RELATED QUESTION: A listing that has expired, when I try to publish it, it remains expired. What has to be done to re-publish an expired listing that is not up for annual renewal?

    Thank you for your help,

    Tom
