    Hi there,

Since classicraft theme is limited to what one can do, I'm trying to be resourceful here. So, I'll describe the issue and the proposed solution and hopefully you can review it and let me know if it is feasible.

    Problem:
I would like to create categories where users can post ads/events. Depending on the category, the user will be asked to specify a price or the price option is not there.
    For example,
    1. I would like to create a category called "services" where users can post an ad without including a price.
    2. I would like to create a category called "community" where users can post an event without including a price.
    3. I would like to create a category called "for sale" where users can post an ad of their item(s) where they have to include a price.
    and more ...
The above couldn't be done in once theme installation, because classicraft doesn't allow custom fields to be visible for some categories and not for others. So, I thought of the following idea/solution.

    The solution:
    - I create a static home page which has links to the different sub-domains of the site. For example, if a user needs to create an ad in the "for sale" category, the user will click a link to http://mydomainname.com/forsale and the user will be routed to that page, and if the user would like to post an even in the community category, the user would click a link to http://mysubdomain.com/community and so on.

    - Each sub-domain/page would have a complete, but separate installation of classicraft. This way, I would have control to allow pricing for all categories within that sub-domain or not depending on my needs.

    - The disadvantage of this, The user would have more than one location to login. If the user is logged in to post in an ad in forsale sub-domain, the user wouldn't like to login again to post a community event.

    Questions:
    1. How can I achieve what I explained above without having the user to login more than one time, one for each sub-domain where the theme is installed. Login needs to happen once for a particular use just as it would when the theme is installed just once.

    2. Since I don't have a lot of experience with wordpress or coding etc ... so there is probably better solutions than what I explained above. Kindly, feel free to suggest other or better solutions that you may know of.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.
Logic you have created is perfect but login disadvantage don't have any solution.
If we use separate sub domain then separate login is also required. It is not possible to use same login.

    Thanks & Regards
