Hello again, thanks for all of your help so far.

There's a couple of things I need to do to my website and would be really grateful for some solutions:

    Website: http://www.outsidecateringevents.co.uk/

    1) Main Menu

I have put drop downs on a few of my main menu buttons. Where there are drop downs, I don't want to be able to click on the button on the main menu and open a page.
e.g. if you look on my website, I don't want "events" to be a page, it is just going to be there to have the drop downs.
I would like the events, dinner parties, and weddings buttons to be un-clickable and the drop downs to be moved up so when you hover over the main menu buttons with drop downs, the first drop down is covering the main menu button.

    How do I do this?

    2) Footer

Whenever I make a change within the theme options, it deletes the information I have put in the footer settings.

How do I stop it from doing this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    1. For the menu issue,
    Go to
    Appearance > Menus

and create custom menu and On the custom menu add the pages with the links that you want.

The trick is that it won't let you create any page without a link, so you have to give it a random link, add it to the custom menu, and once you added it edit it and delete the URL.

That should make your menu unclickable.

This will solve your menu issue.

    2. Could you please explain your footer issue more clearly.
