I wish to have the center of the city - the directory is specific to a single US city. I've read through all the threads and can not find a solution the PDF set up shows different menus on the theme settings - I have the latest versions 2.0 - map doesn't show until you have at least one listing - got that - but I need for it to NOT be the entire map of the US I see others have had this issue - the resolutions have been implemented as correctly as I can tell but not a change in the map - cleared cache and cookies just in case - no change. Help.

Hello, If you have the latest version of the theme you should be able to set the centre as I have - make sure the address is fairly full, see screenshot attached. You may have to delete your site cache if you use a cache plugin and also your browser cache to see it take effect. Shout if it still does't work!
Oh dear, almost forgot you will need to tweak the zoom level to suit. Screen shot attached so you can see my settings at www.inboston.co.uk Use the editor to update 'map_search.php' file as shown with the value that you find best suits. Hope this helps Roger B
