Menu items creating 'false positive' urls

Hello I'm hoping you can explain something that's happening on my site. I followed the instructions you provided for selecting which items I want to appear in my menu bar. However, I'm now getting 'false positives' for those urls. Initially, they appeared as broken links - but worked fine. When I manually set the links as OK, they appeared as 'false positives'. Might I have some code somewhere that's causing this problem?
