Hi, I used a site to check our SEO and received the following messages "Your site does not contain a <meta> description tag. Adding a page description will greatly increase your page rank." "Your site does not contain a <meta> keywords tag. Adding keywords will make your site appear when people search for certain words related to your page." Thank you Nitesh, I already have All in One plugin. It works on all pages except the Homepage. When using the SEO evaluation tool http://www.seoworkers.com/tools/analyzer.html I get the following message "Error:- 400 URL must be absolute" Is it possible to edit the "Home" page in the same way as the other pages? or perhaps I have set the site up incorrectly Kind regards Brendan Palmer http://www.computer-recycling.ie
Hello, I have checked your site. Home page is not working. That's why analyzer is showing such error. Set your reading settings to default. It will activate your home page. After that meta keywords and descriptions from theme options will work fine for home page.
Thank you Nitesh, I could not see a default setting on the reading page. I did set the "Front page displays" to "your latest posts" and that seems to work Kind regards Brendan Palmer
