I would like to deactivate the cufon font in the Colorway theme and understand this is done by removing "Cufon.replace('h1')('h2')('h3')('h4')('h5')('h6');" from custom.js.

Is there a way to incorporate this change into the child theme, so the changes do not get overwritten at the next update? Copying the js folder and custom.js file into the child theme folder does not work.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Child theme works for files in the parent theme main directory.
You are trying to add subdirectory (js) file. That's why it is not working.

You have to create all these changes manually again when you update your parent theme.
So, we would like to suggest you that you have to save all your changes in the file on your system as a backup and always replace them after updating the theme.
