Hi, I am still having trouble with this and the solutions in the previous posts don't seem to work for me. If you create multiple categories for cities this works provided there are not 2 cities with the same name. Therefore if you create cityName0 and CityName1 and add category photographers, for example, to each then no matter what all photographers from all cities are returned when listing cityNameX>photographers. This would not be a problem but there is no sort so that cityNameX listings float to the top and all other cites list below them. So how do we set this up so that we can return cityName0>photographers as one answer and cityName1>photographers as a different answer? Also note that when set up this way (cityNameX>photographers) using the search boxes returns nothing when searching on cityNameX or photogrphers. Therefore a categorical search must added somewhere. russmnh
Seems like you are looking for category based search, so that you can search for photographers in some specific city category. Right now, with GeoCraft the search can be done based on keyword which is present in the "title" or "description" of the listing in the first field and "address" of the listing in the second field.
OK Neeraj, Thanks for the reply. I have read most of the posts regarding categories and search and do believe that categorical search and regional GEO capability are important to the theme. Please consider this for future updates. Russ
Agreed - I can't work out a satisfactory way to do this with the current theme set up or suggested solutions. Please consider this for future updates - there have been several requests by a number of people. Thank you.
