Ugh, yet more problems after months of problems. This regards grandstrandbride.com. 1) Using the dashboard install, I installed the child theme, no problem. When I attempt to upload and install the 1.8.2 ZIP file, I get an error message: Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again. So I try again, and it's like Groundhog Day: it happens every time I attempt the dashboard install. 2) So I unzip the theme file, go to FTP upload, and overwrite the existing 1.8.1 folder. but when I activate the child theme and view the live site, like Roger, I get the white screen of death. 3) I then deleted all the files from my server, attempted a clean install via FTP, then activated the main theme (no child) only to get this size error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 261900 bytes) in /home/grandstr/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 1580 So now I am back to v 1.8.1. Trying to get this theme to prove it's even basic functionality has been a very frustrating and poor experience for me, and it's been going on for over 6 months.
