Mp4 videos take a long to load before playing

Hi again, I am really concerned about how long it is taking to play a simple 80mb mp4 video. FLV videos load much faster,but flv does not work on all platforms and it is essential that this works on IE, FF, Chrome, Andoid and iOS.

Can you please check and tell me if there is anything that can be done to resolve the load time ?

http://bizbytes.asia/videos/test-5/ which is a .flv file - loads quickly

With the mp4 video, it looks like it waits to load the whole video before starting to play. With the FLV video, it starts to play as soon as some has been buffered, therefore the appearance of being faster.

I think there is some problem with that video.
Please try any other mp4 video. It will work fine.
Theme don't have such issue.

 

Yes you are right. If anyone else has this problem, this is what I did to solve it:
download http://www.datagoround.com/lab/ run your mp4's through that and then upload and it will stream straight away.
Please give them a donation as this is a free application and works very well.
