Multiple H1 Tag Issue

Hello.

1. Is it possible to reduce the H1 Tags to just one at the Black Bird theme?

2. Spcae between Blog Post and Footer. I know how to increase the sapce between these two at the frontpage. But after increasing i can see the background image instead of white color. The text of the blog post is to close to the bottom. Can i have more white space?
