Multiple Problems with menu

Hi - I just installed the theme and also clicked "Add sample data." I want to update the main menu and I have at least 3 issues:

1. I now seem to have duplicate pages for "Dashboard" "Add New Listing", etc. that cannot be removed or disabled.
2. I do not see the "inkthemes" menu when I am in the admin dashboard. According to the docs, that is the default menu that I can customize.
3. When I create my own custom menu (MainMenu) it does not change the look of the site. It still defaults to the old menu (which is not visible to me!)

Any ideas?

Hello,

Go to
Appearance > Menus
Create a custom menu and only add the pages that you want to show in the navigation bar.

As I said in the post, I already did this. The site is still using the built-in menu and not the one I have setup. Can you please respond to my questions in the post? Should I have duplicate content? Shouldn't I see the Inkthemes menu in the Menus field?

I think it is working now. The issue is that the "inkthemes" menu is not showing up in the UI. It is just a blank line? (See below) When I change the menu to my custom menu it seems to be working. When I switch to "blank" - it does the default menu. Thanks.
