Need code to have social icons in footer open in new window

Am using Version: 3.4.0.
What code can I add and where so the footer social icons open in a new window or tab?
That would be greater for SEO as they will remain on my site longer.

For your information, I am using "WP-Editor" plugin to edit files.

You can also download and use it from the link https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-editor/.

After activating this plugin, you will get the same screen as shown in the screenshot.
