Since the Geocraft theme does not allow multiple reviews from the same IP address and it does not show reviews as posts but only as ID #, can you please help us to be able to ADD the IP address box into the Editors for the comments or review, so that we can either change or delete them. We are having trouble when folks incorrectly save their star reviews and want us to fix them for us, there is no place to add the stars in the posts, so we recreate their comments and need to be able to add the stars and then put their IP address back into their review. We have another review theme that lets you edit the ip and star rating right from the editor on a different site. Thanks!
Hi, Unfortunately there isn't a way to do amend the star rating with our theme unless you custom code something up. We really feel Sorry for it. If this isn't something you're able to do then you would need to hire a freelancer for this. Regards, Sameer
Can you possibly then tell us the table and row id in the database where we can then find and edit the stars. The reviewers are having trouble changing their star ratings sometomes they stay on ONE star and that is not what they meant to leave. They can not understand why we cannot fix it or clear it. Please tell us the database table and row id where we can do this from the DB since you cannot in the wordpress. Thanks.
Hi, I would suggest you to go for WP Review that will work for you. It will solve your issue. Regards, Sameer
I am not sure I follow you, so please let me understand. Geocraft is a Review & Listing theme, but you are reccomending that we use a Review Plug-in instead of the built-in Review functions of Geocraft?? Surely someone there can just direct us to the correct table in the database so that we correct an eroneous click on the number of stars? They clicked 3 instead of 4 and can not change it themsselves. It makes us look uneducated not to be able to help them fix a little blue star. We like Geocraft and the tabbed reviews that work across the site and on the scrolling member bars and homepage. A plugin can't do that and it would mean we bought the Geocraft theme for nothing. Really nobody there can tell us how to edit a simple review posting? I do not comprhend this. Sorry.
Hi, I can understand your concern and sorry for inconvenienced caused. If you wish you can refer "wp_post_ratings" table in your database. From there you will get the post id and ratings as well. Refer the below image as well: Hope it will solve your issue Regards, Sameer
Thank you, we know this table and it does not chnage the actual star rating. Only the number changes, but stars remain the same. We will have to keep looking into this to correct it. Thank you for your added effort to help us fix this. JMS
