I had a problem with nForms - the sliders on their forms didn't function. Their support said I had an old version of jQuery (I am running 1.32 apparently) and I need v 1.8 and above. My WP site is up to date, so I'm not sure how to upgrade this jQuery and what knock on effects there may be. Can you advise on the best course of action here please.
Hello, Please check source code of your site there you can see jQuery version that your site is using. Theme sharing WordPress default jQuery file. Check image attached for reference.
Hi, I've taken a couple of screenshots and the issue highlighted. In your screenshot, the jquery is shown as 1.8.3 and mine is the same, however I think it maybe being overruled by an older version within the paid for Infoway theme. The nForms support team are pointing to the jquery.min.js file loading an older version of jquery - 1.3.2 This is beyond my technical understanding, but I do follow the need for the correct version of things and I checked that using the free version of Infoway them which does NOT include the file 'jquery.min.js' allows the sliders in nForms to work, but with my paid for Infoway theme, this file is included and consequently the slider stops working. I have attached both screen shots. Thanks
Nitesh - please could you reply to my latest post please. On the screenshots you can see jQuery is only version 1.3.2
