New post (on Home Page/summary excerpt) isn't showing text

Hello!

I have a client (using ReThink) who published a post yesterday (05.31). The Home Page displays only the featured image that has been inserted within his post. No text/summary/excerpt. This is an anomaly.

Previous posts have displayed image and text excerpt, as expected.

InkThemes is still set up as a User with an Admin-level role.

Hello, Glorious!

I have checked your website and find that you were doing a very basic mistake.

You are using "WP Edit Pro Excerpt" and inserted two images in it which override and replace the content used by the Excerpt function used for the posts in the front page.
As the excerpt function fetches text from a post and you have inserted two images in the content area, that's why it show blank space instead of texts.

I have deleted the two image from the excerpt area and now it takes the text from the post area.

Actually, it was my client. Not me. :-D [He's added a quite a few plugins on his own and I'm not surprised that at least one of them is affecting the functionality of something.]

I'll let him know about this issue.
