No language switcher button with q translate x

Hi,

I successfully installed the q translate x plugin on my site (http://twiceuponatime.ca) and translated most of the pages, but I can't get the language switcher button to appear in the top menu. The button works based on having a custom link in the menu. I tried adding a general custom link and it didn't work either, which made me think it's a problem with the theme.

I also can't seem to translate the main page.

After watching your video I realized that the problem was that the theme locations button under Menu settings wasn't checked. As soon as I checked that box all the custom links I had created displayed properly.
