I had a business contact me that their business ad was not showing up any longer on my site after they edited the page. We checked why & after scrolling to near end of listings we found their ad marked PENDING (used to show up first on the business listings if it was pending)...but the major problem was nothing showed up to tell me I had a pending ad waiting?? I temporarily changed my controls to just 'publish' so that would not happen again but I don't like that. Shouldn't I get some type of notification that I have ads pending review somewhere?
We have not added such feature because, suppose if you have 1000 listings, then emails become headache for you. So it is good to check pending listings manually
Manually ?? meaning to scroll thru all my pages of business listings every day? Any chance you can make an update where the PENDING would show up first in the list of business listings? much easier to find that way anything that is pending to take care of it.
Look via your admin dashboard under 'Business Listings' - you will see all the 'pending' listings in one place.
Molatin...Business Listings is where I am looking but I have 245+ listings & Pendings are just somewhere mixed in with all the others so you have to search for it (all pending previously showed up on the very top listings on that page & were easy to spot)
Hello joshualevisturm, I m also agree with molatin. There is an option in the dashboard to show all pending listings separately. And it is not possible to add mailing option for listing pending. Suppose if listing owner edit there listing multiple times a day. Then mails will become headache for admin.
