Hi, I don't use sub categories so my category links on the home page don't work. How can I remove the categories all together from the homepage as I have created a drop down menu instead. Please keep in mind i am using the child theme you guys provide and want to make the changes there and not the core files. I am a newbie with the child theme so if you can please explain step by step it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I've removed them already from the widget area and that removed the categories from the sidebar but I'm referring to the categories that show on the homepage just above the listings in big blue text. Thanks
Hi, Yes I understand that, if you look at my first post you'll see I ask how to do so. I would like to remove it using the child theme and not having to change the core files. Any help in doing so would be greatly appreciated. The categories that display on the home page in blue text are what I am trying to remove... Thanks
Hi, Download attached zip file and extract file index.php and put this on your child theme directory. Hope this will solve your problem.
