I'm using Smartbooking Theme for www.pricechiropractic.org I'm not a programmer so the heavy technical jargon I can't understand. The site is loading too slow and the scores on google tools or pingdom are very low. I installed the minify plugin but I didn't really see any improvements. My jpgs are adjusted to smaller size. I even paid another guy (outside resource) to work on the site coz' I cant get answers here. He was able to make it faster and got higher scores but it just messed up the site so turned it back and deleted changes. Most of the issues are on the homepage. Once you're in the site surfing through the pages is faster but going back to Home takes forever. Can anyone help me figure this out please?
Ok. I worked on it. Almost deleted the whole WP app installation and start from scratch . I tried deleting the theme first and did a fresh upload. Cleared the cache, cookies and so far i think it works. Have to test in different computers and browsers. The only thing I see different is the Contact Us page where the map is on top of the contact form but I can worry about it later Thought I'd post updates for fellow non-pros like me.
