Number of images in the slideshow

Hello again

Regarding the slideshow, I can see we can add more images in the custom fields.
However, I'm having a hard time finding the right position number to set the new entries next to the already existing picture slots (i. e. the new images show up all over the place instead of being a follow-up to the existing slideshow).
As per usual, your advises would be very helpful

Hello Henrique,

Last upload image have position number 10. So you can assign 11th position to new upload field.
After it edit description custom field and change it's position from 11 to 12.

Please try it. It will work.

Having in mind that there maybe other custom fields, having one of them the position 11, would not there be a conflict?
Also what would be the procedure should I wish to add two or more images to the starting five?

In fact, "Listing Description" is in position 11 and "Time" is in position 12.

 

Open each custom fields in a new tab and assign them position one by one. According to your requirement.

So the procedure would be the following?

6th image: open tab; assign position 11. After that, click edit and change position to 12;
7th image: open tab; assign position 13. After that, click edit and change position to 14;
8th image: open tab; assign position 15. After that, click edit and change position to 16;
(...)

I am sorry for boring you with my questions, but I want to make sure I know what I'm doing because I'm afraid of doing something wrong...

 

Hello,

Just go to Geocraft Settings > Custom Fields
and click the edit option of desired field and enter position from "Position (Display order)" text box.

The thing is I am trying to put extra image fields in the business listing (following the last of the 5 original slots), but I'm don't quite understand how to organize things in terms of position, because the 5th image field has position 10 but there are 20+ positions assigned overall.

At the time of changing position, change the position of all or any one field but remember that give different position to all the field. it will work fine.

So, if I got this right, if I put a new image slot at position 11, I have to increase all the following positions in one unit... is that it?

 

If you are adding new field with position 11 and any other field already exist at that position then theme will put new field below old field. Because both have same position.

I haven't been successful following your instructions.
Let's say last image of the slide show is in position 10 (and the following item is in position 11). If I want to add two new images, shall I give them positions 11 ans 12 and add 2 numbers to the items with higher positions?
I have done that but the images were shown bwlow the right column...

I got your concern, If I am not wrong you want to show your custom image field in a slider, if it so than this functionality is not their. Your all the custom image field will get added in the right column only as you mentioned.

I just want to increase the number of images on the premium add slider... currently I can only add 5.
I had been told to modify the position numbers - as you can see above - but I was never successful doing it, as the images show up in the wrong places.
So there's no way to add more than 5 images, right?

Could you please send us the edited screen shots as their are two sliders one that appears on single listing detailed page and other is a home page slider so that I can guide you accordingly.

You are not suppose to upload more than five images in this slider.
