On http://www.lifeonthewall.net/services/ the text in the body of the page has the results of being an image instead of text when I right click on it in a browser. That concerns me because of search engines not indexing text that is contained in a graphic.
Hello, In this theme we have used cufon text which makes text to image, so text displays as image. Thanks & Regards Yogesh Bhade
I tried to get the services to come up on Google. They do not. How can I get a list of which of your themes use this type of text. I have clients paying for SEO. I need to be aware of this.
Hi irissalmins1 Cufon does not affect SEO. Google renders cufon text as normal text. Read these articles, it may help you understand the impact of cufon fonts on SEO http://www.aerodesigns.co.uk/blog/negative-seo-effects-of-cufon/ http://xsdesigns.se/cufon-custom-fonts-hurt-seo/ Thanks PankajK
I did a Google search for some pretty unique phrase "stabilizing loose cracking chipping paint layer" from lifeonthewall.net Services page. The page didn't come up. The site itself has outstanding search results on Google, but not the services page which of course is very important. I love inkthemes and recommend them all the time. This is the first time that something has really been a concern for me. Be well, Iris
Hi irissalmins1 We appreciate your concern. We are upgrading all our themes with latest design patterns and stopped using cufon fonts. Very soon you will get an updated version of 'ButterBelly theme with cufon removed and all other issues fixed. However you can check recent themes which have been updated.
