Paid listings should not renew for free

Greetings Inkthemes Support Team,

I'm trying to launch my GeoCraft theme directory site. At this time I am unable to do so due to the way the Paid Listings Renewal system works. Upon expiration of a PAID listing, a customer can just click the renew button and the listing is instantly renewed for free. I will not be running free listings in this particular site. I have the STATUS as DEACTIVE for the free option in my GeoCraft payment settings. However, listings are still renewing FREE. In my opinion, turning off the free renewal should be a basic function of this theme. Please advise if this will be supported. If this function can't be accomplished, this really nice theme will not be useful for me.

Currently this feature is don't have in this theme, But in future if we get more request from other users to add this feature, Then we will try to add this feature in our future update.

The exprity process of this theme is, when the listing active period expires, then that listing will be set to as a free listing. After it all the feature of that listing would be removed. If that listing owner wants to have all premium feature as before, he have to upgrade the listing from edit listing option and if he doesn't want to upgrade or have not the premium feature, he have to only do the renew listing and that listing will be renew as a free listing.

 

I second this request as I am also only using paid listings.

I'm going to add my voice and vote to this as well. I have no interest in providing any listing for free and only want Premium, paid for, listings. If the Free Listing is deactivated, it should have no function anywhere in the theme at all. If Premium expires, then there should be a grace period to renew which we should be able to set like the listing renewal period option in the free and one time options. Curious why that wasn't added in Recurring Payment option tab.

 

The direct renewal option on paid listings had been added to the theme in the latest version 1.7.4. You can download the updated version to see that.
