Hello,

You can try NextGEN Gallery plugin for this requirement.
Download it from the link given below and install it from the Plugins panel (Plugins ->Add New ->Upload) in your Dashboard.
http://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/

After that create gallery and then go to the Appearance > Widgets panel in your dashboard and
drag & drop nextgen widget in the sidebar widgets.

This will solve your issue.
